GROW Learning Outcomes

 

Graduate students who attend GROW will be able to :

1.     Know where to go on campus to handle routine business, solve common problems, and deal with difficult situations that might emerge.

2.     Describe appropriate parameters of professional behavior relating to research, teaching, and study as a graduate student.

3.     Develop a plan for the first day of teaching and an approach to the first weeks of study and research.

4.     Demonstrate familiarity with UC Merced policies and procedures, and the implications of those policies and procedures for learning, teaching, research, and service.

5.     Identify social communities available to UC Merced graduate students and recognize their GSA officers and union reps.
