The Clothesline Project

April 4, 2017 - 10:00am to 2:00pm
The Clothesline Project began in 1990 as a way to address sexual violence in a community setting. The project works to honor survivors and victims of sexual violence by creating a space that is free from judgement and blame, where survivors and their loved ones can express their emotions and share their stories by decorating shirts. Participating in this project provides a powerful step toward helping survivors break through the silence and culture of shame that often surrounds their experiences.
