A panel discussion on experiences of LGBTQ+ students and faculty in STEM fields, including how to be an ally. Panelists include: -Andrea Vas, UC Merced alum (BS, Applied Math) and founder, UC Merced LAMBDA -Marcos Garcia-Ojeda, faculty, School of Natural Sciences -Mo Kaze, graduate student, School of Natural Sciences -Irenee Beattie, faculty, School of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts -Angi Baxter, coordinator of Women's Programs and LGBTQ+ Initiatives Event is cosponsored by LGBTQ+ Initiatives, W-STEM at UC Merced, Office of Campus Climate and Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Queer Issues.
