GOALS:

  1. We will identify and use strategies that increase our writing productivity, and learn to avoid the most common time management mistakes graduate students make.
  2. We will develop a strategic plan for writing and degree completion that is consistent with our individual writing process and habits. Central to this is a consistent daily writing routine.
  3. We will develop a network of support and accountability for academic writing so that we can continue our productive and successful writing after Boot Camp ends.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Attend Boot Camp every day, and write a minimum of five hours each day of Boot Camp.
  2. Participate in group meetings designed to help you set goals, identify obstacles, manage writing time (and energy), avoid procrastination and perfectionism.
  3. Take breaks as needed.
  4. Complete and submit your productivity chart and other "assignments."
  5. Respect your fellow Bootcampers and help to create a quiet and productive writing space for everyone.
