Grad Harvest Event: Wednesday, October 18 5:30 - 8:00 PM

A unique institution in many ways, the University of California, Merced (UCM) is the 10th campus of the prestigious University of California system and the only major research university in the country to be officially designated a Hispanic Serving Institution, a Minority Serving Institution, and an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution.  Fifty years after the most recent UC campus was established, UCM was founded in California’s Central Valley to meet the needs of high achieving students – a majority of whom are first-generation - and to provide research and educational opportunities to generate economic growth and prosperity in the region in which it resides.
