GRE Revised General Test | Graduate Division

The GRE Revised General Test replaced the GRE General Test in August 2011. The GRE Revised General Test reflects a new level of sophistication in psychometric design and delivery to help with admissions decisions. One of the most significant changes is the introduction of a new score scale. Below is a summary of the new score scale:

• Verbal Reasoning -- 130-170 (1-point increments)
• Quantitative Reasoning -- 130-170 (1-point increments)
• Analytical Writing -- 0-6 (half-point increments)
