Front-End Web Development Workshop: Completing your Webpage

March 9, 2017 - 11:00am to 12:30pm
The Web Development Workshop Series is geared toward an introduction into how websites are designed and created. Students will learn about markup languages, such as HTML and CSS, and get an introduction to programming languages such as JavaScript. They will also learn how to make a website live, and about server-side interactions. This workshop will show how attendees can use what they have learned in previous workshops by putting all three front-end programming languages – HMTL/CSS/JS – to use by creating their own Web pages. They will apply what they have learned to create a blog site and have the opportunity to learn about backend programming, which consists of server-side programming and database implementation.
