Fellowship Proposal Form

Congratulations on your fellowship proposal being funded! 

To process your award as quickly as possible and to avoid any delays in you receiving your funding, this form is intended to help guide you through the award processing steps.

Process for Graduate Fellowship submission:

  1. Complete the online form below.

  2. This form is automatically sent to gradfunding@ucmerced.edu (Grad Funding) and spo@ucmerced.edu (Sponsored Projects Office).

  3. SPO will create a Cayuse Record, if needed.

  4. You will receive an email with a Cayuse Number or “No Cayuse Needed.”

  5. Grad Funding will process a $200 Graduate Fellowship Incentive Award (GFIP), if you qualify.

  6. If awarded, please notify spo@ucmerced.edu and gradfunding@ucmerced.edu as soon as possible.

  7. If you have a Cayuse record – SPO will process your award.

  8. If you do not have a Cayuse record – Grad Funding will process your award.

Gap Funding Source
If there is a gap in funding either fellowship or fees, please request funding cost share from the following sources in order:
