Track 2: New Postdoctoral Scholars. Faculty members engaged in research in the above areas are encouraged to submit applications for the recruitment of new postdoctoral scholars. Selected candidates will receive full funding for one year (with the possibility of an additional year following an internal review). Funding will include salary, benefits, and up to $5000 in travel.
- Application materials:
- 2-page proposal describing the research the candidate will engage in, It is recommended that the research plan cover a two-year period.
- 1-page mentoring plan for the duration of two years,
- If the faculty member has a pre-selected candidate, include the candidate’s curriculum vitae and 2-page personal statement. The peronal statement should provide evidence of the candidate's scientific maturity, motivation, independence, and ability to contribute positively to the research and mentorship culture of the campus.
- If faculty member plans to do an open search, the award will be finalized upon candidate selection to ensure alignment with fellowship requirements.
