GRADUATE CANDIDATES

Spring 2024 Graduate Candidates

Master's and doctoral degree candidates graduating as part of the Spring 2024 class are able to participate in the Graduate Division Commencement Ceremony. PhD candidates will be hooded by their faculty advisor as part of the Commencement ceremony. The office of Graduate Division will help coordinate with your faculty advisors as needed. In order to participate in the Spring 2024 ceremony, please ensure you have applied to graduate with the Office of the Registrar and registered to participate in Commencement with Graduate Division.

Graduation Application and Commencement Ceremony Dates: 

• Spring 2024 Graduation Application - Must participate in Spring Commencement (May 10, 2024)
• Summer 2024 Graduation Application – May choose to participate in Spring Commencement (May 10, 2024) OR Fall Commencement (December 2024)
• Fall 2024 Graduation Application - Must participate in Fall Commencement (December 2024)

**Please note that students are required to participate in the ceremony concurrent with the semester they apply to graduate. No exceptions will be made. 

GRAD FAIR

The Spring 2024 Grad Fair - April 3rd and 4th.

Grad Fair is an opportunity for graduates to receive information on tickets, parking, take graduation photos to purchase, order regalia, class rings, flower leis and more. Please continue to check your UC Merced email addresses for additional updates and communications.
