Graduate Division will host mandatory ReGROW sessions for all 2nd, 3rd and 4th year graduate students on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
The timings are as follows:
2nd year: 9:30 – 10:45am
3rd year: 10:30 – 11:45am
4th year: 11:30am – 12:45pm
ReGROW is a program designed for continuing students to re-orient themselves with the opportunities offered by Graduate Division, their program expectations and milestones, and to engage in an intentional advising/mentoring session with faculty leaders in their own graduate program. ReGROW is held in a short program format with cohort and program-based audiences. Each student will participate in two sessions.
Session 1: Graduate Division Session
The first session will run for approximately 45-minutes, led by Graduate Division, and will include a presentation covering critical topics in a just-in-time fashion that have been identified as appropriate and timely for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year graduate students by Graduate Division team members and colleagues.
Session 2: Graduate Program Session
The second session will run for 30-45 minutes, will be led by graduate program faculty leaders will include any presentations on program specific policies, practices, or issues identified as appropriate and timely for each cohort by each graduate chair and program faculty. The second session will also provide an opportunity for graduate students to ask questions and seek direct guidance from their graduate program faculty.
