To nominate a scholar, please complete the webform. You may submit one nomination, with the option to nominate a second scholar if additional funding becomes available.
Nominations will be reviewed by the Vice Provost and Graduate Dean, along with Graduate Division staff. Please note that nominations are not final until they undergo a full review, including verification of GPA, academic standing, and other eligibility requirements.
ARCS Award Criteria
- U.S. Citizen
- Full-time Ph.D. student enrolled in an ARCS-approved department:
- Chemistry and Biochemistry
- Cognitive and Information Sciences
- Environmental Systems
- Physics
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- A previous ARCS awardee may be nominated again.
