These nominations, which are specifically for prospective Ph.D. students who applied by January 15, 2017, are due by Friday, February 3, 2017. Please note, it has been agreed upon by all three Schools that any student selected for a recruitment fellowship will also get a four year funding commitment. This must be taken into consideration when selecting nominees for your graduate group as they should be your top admissions applicants. This commitment can be made in any combination of TA, GSR, and/or fellowship support.
All nominations should include (in the "Selection Process" section) a brief description of the process and criteria that the graduate group used to choose nominees. In addition, all nominations should be based on a set of factors likely to predict success in graduate school, including but not limited to: undergraduate GPA, GRE scores, TOEFL score (if applicable), applicant's research experience, strength of reference letters, writing sample (if applicable), quality of undergraduate institution.
