Graduate Division at UC Merced is committed to ensuring the successful execution of faculty research projects. To this end, we offer comprehensive support to assist faculty in strengthening their proposals, and if funded, in executing their funded activities.
This initiative aims to alleviate the administrative burden associated with grant management, allowing researchers to focus more on their core work. The support is structured in flexible 25%-time increments, enabling faculty to customize the level of assistance they receive.
This effort buy-out model ensures that researchers can access skilled administrative help proportional to their needs, whether it is for a quarter of a staff member's time, or more substantial support.
