Graduate Orientation Week (GROW) Summer Fellowship

The Summer GROW (Graduate Orientation Week) Fellowship is designed to offer a graduate student a summer fellowship while supporting the Graduate Division with contributions related to GROW. This is a professional development opportunity for graduate student looking to improve their programming skills, Catcourses skills and outreach to incoming graduate students. This award is only available to continuing graduate students. Fellowship Award

To be awarded in the month of August, up to $1,500. 

Eligibility Requirements & Standards

The fellowshop is open to all current graduate students - second year and above.

All doctoral graduate students are eligible for this award regardless of United States citizenship.

Preference will be given to applicants who have knowledge and experience with Catcourse design and training. 

Student Loan Impact

This fellowship will have no impact on your student loan. 

Application, Nomination & Review Procedures

  • Updated CV
  • A general statement (1-2 pages) that describes how your experience with Catcourses, student outreach, and experieince as a current graudate student can help the Graduate Division move GROW to a successful online format. 
  • The fellowship committee will review all complete applications based on the criteria above.
  • Deadline to apply is June 21, 2020 by midnight (pst).
